Photo: supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&#x27;ve got these amazing creative people working in the restaurant and they bring their own creativity into everything they do.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;If they&#x27;re bringing that much creativity into the food and drink offerings and then we&#x27;re putting it on mass-produced platters and plates, it felt wrong.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The food tells a story, and we wanted the plates to become part of that story too.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Each piece takes several days to shape, glaze and fire, while years of trial and error have helped Lah develop her own style.<\/p>\n<p>Now she finds the process of making the serving ware meditative and a welcomed creative escape.<\/p>\n<p>Lah said every piece has its own personality.<\/p>\n<p><figure style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/IMG_1136_62913_tn_w600-1.jpg\" alt=\"El Santo de los Tacos co-owner Bek Lah has made more than 70 pieces of serving ware for the restaurant. Photo: supplied.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;They&#x27;re all in the same family but they&#x27;ve all got their own unique quirks,&quot; she said. &quot;They&#x27;re definitely one of a kind.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Balancing multiple businesses and being a parent does not leave much time to work in her studio.
