How long have you lived in your ward?:

I have lived in Alfredton with my four children since 2008.

Community involvement: FedUni University Council/Academic Board, parkrun, Ballarat Marathon, and involvement with various community organisations.. Keynote speaker on family tourism and family violence… Led community project in 2012 to prevent farmland being rezoned into light industry (now Ballymanus) and community project in 2011 to prevent $40m ratepayers’ money being spent on Council offices.

Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?: I spent money on a small number of core things but ensured they were quality – such as photography, marketing, artwork, and printing… Hand-delivering all my flyers…

Three most important issues in your ward?:

1. Seek to improve local roads and traffic flow.

2. look for ways to provide a more efficient council to ensure best value for ratepayers.

3. Ensure decision-making is informed by community input with genuine consultation.
