Alfredton
Nathan Anderson
Occupation: Ambulance Call taker, Triple Zero Victoria.
Resides: Lucas.
How long have you lived in your ward? About six years.
Community involvement: As a single parent, I’ve had some time off to focus on my children. These days I am on the Ballarat High School Council and assist with the Primary School and also helping out with the Scout barbecues, and looking forward to contributing more to the community in the future.
Associated with a political party or movement?: I have been a member of the Liberal Party on and off for many years, however they are not endorsing me and I have not asked their permission to stand. I am standing because I want to stand up for my community.
Preferencing: To be decided.
Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?: My campaign is self-funded, and is probably about $300 all up.
Three most important issues in your ward?
People are concerned about the condition of local roads such as Dyson Drive and Cuthberts Road; keeping weekly rubbish collection; and in Lucas, the need for an off-leash dog park, among many others.
