Three most important issues in your ward?
1. Eradicating domestic / gender based violence…As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know how it shuts your world down and kills you in small instalments.
2. Improving active and public transport networks – ending transport poverty and easing congestion on our roads particularly around schools…Walking and cycle routes should be safe and separated.
3. Impact of the climate crisis and sustainable development – constraining the city’s boundaries. The State government has told us we need to grow to 150,000 but no one said we have to keep eating up bush and farmland. The key to all these things is building a strong and resilient community so we can all say that we love where we live.
