Discover St Patrick’s College at Open Afternoon

ST Patrick’s College Ballarat is delighted to invite families to its Open Afternoon on Thursday 9 October 2025, offering a unique opportunity to explore the College in action and learn more about enrolment for Year 7 in 2027 and beyond.

Running from 4–6pm, the event will feature guided College tours, interactive classroom and sporting activities, student displays and an information session specifically for 2027 Year 7 families.

Coinciding with the College’s annual VCE Arts and Technology Exhibition, visitors can also enjoy a showcase of exceptional student work on display in the OCA Pavilion.

Principal Steven O’Connor encouraged all interested families to register and take part in the event.

“Our Open Afternoon is a wonderful chance to experience the warmth of our community and see the breadth of opportunities available to students,” Mr O’Connor said.

“Whether you’re exploring secondary school options for the first time or continuing a family tradition at St Pat’s, we look forward to welcoming you.”

Families will hear from staff, meet current students and learn more about the College’s mission to educate hope-filled, compassionate and confident young men for their place in the world.

“From our academic programs and pastoral care structures to our outstanding facilities and co-curricular opportunities, there’s something for every young man at St Pat’s,” Mr O’Connor said.
