Celebrating powerhouse women in country music

WITH the music of Shania Twain, Linda Ronstadt, Tammy Wynette and Olivia Newton-John – MAN, I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN – is coming to Ballarat!

From the creators of successful touring production Coal Miner’s Daughter – this kicking tribute show to Shania, Linda, Tammy and Olivia was a sold-out smash hit at it’s premiere at the 2024 Tamworth Country Music Festival at the Capitol Theatre, and again in 2025 it is now touring NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

“We had the most incredible audience for our Coal Miner’s Daughter performances in Ballarat and I am so excited to be bringing our brand-new show to town again,” said Amber Joy Poulton, star of Man, I Feel Like A Woman.

“What a feeling performing the hits of these legends! There’s a lot of enjoyment but there’s also an immense amount of admiration for how these women gracefully, but determinedly found their spot on the main stage.

“It’s the perfect time to celebrate and shine a light on these power house women in music.

“They all come from their own niche market, some are from the country scene but there’s also Linda Ronstadt with her rock background and Olivia with her sweet ballads and movie star career, and with Shania and Tammy battling it out for the country crown with one being very traditional and classic, and Shania being more of the pop country, it’s a fight to the finish to see who will come out on top, and it’s all up to the audience as to who gets to take home the crown.”

On their return to Ballarat they are super excited to show the country music fans their versatility in this brand new show.

In the quest for a ‘Country Queen’ Amber Joy Poulton and her band, The Governing Bodies, will pick apart the fabric of the life and careers of the four country greats.

Who could resist the sass of Shania Twain, mixed with the darling of rock’n’roll Linda Ronstadt, backed up by country music royalty Queen Tammy Wynette with the innocence of Australia’s own Olivia Newton-John?
