TONIGHT, Friday 6 December, Kilderkin Distillery will host an evening of live music by Pete Daffy and Pete Baylor.

The event will celebrate Medieval to Metal: The Art and Evolution of the Guitar which is showing at the Art Gallery of Ballarat until February 2025.

The performance will include a range of songs spanning decades using vintage guitars and reproduction handcrafter by Daffy.

“We are proud to bring a piece of this remarkable exhibition to life through the universal language of music,” said Kilderkin co-owner Chris Pratt.

“Pete Daffy and Pete Baylor’s extraordinary talent adds an exciting dimension to the gallery’s tribute to the guitar.”

Attendees can expect iconic tunes as well as insights into the guitars’ characteristics and the roles they have played in 20th century music.

“Our distillery isn’t just about great gin; it’s about fostering connection and creativity,” said Kilderkin Distillery co-owner Rebecca Matthews.

“Events like this show how art, music and community come together.”

The performance will begin at 7pm and tickets can be purchased on the Kilderkin Distillery website.
