Headline acts announced for festival
THE musical line-up for this month’s Food, Fire and Light Festival at Sovereign Hill has been revealed.
The sensory experience which showcases fire on the goldfields will be headlined by multi-instrumentalist ROSWEL, and Harvey Miller from Client Liaison.
Immersive solo performer Andrew Loadsman will be accompanied by DJ Marc Lucarelli and Umbra Moon will be playing their ambient pop-style tunes.
“This is the biggest event at Sovereign Hill since Winter Wonderlights started 10 years ago,” said head of events and programming, Peter Taylor.
“It’s been years in the making so we’re so excited to reveal it to the world and also share this beautiful new events precinct.”
Each night, one artist will play from 7pm until 10pm to create a festival atmosphere.
“What we’re excited about is that each night of the festival there is going to be a different headline act, and they range from internationally renowned DJs to buskers that are super-hot on Instagram and TikTok,” said Mr Taylor.
“We’ve got an incredibly diverse range of artists which will make every night unique at the festival.”
Other festival highlights include a valley of lights, waterfall pyrotechnics, a storytelling experience with Wadawurrung Traditional Owners, a silent cinema and an adult arcade.
The festival will be on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October, and Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October.
Tickets start at $68 and can be purchased on the Sovereign Hill website.
