Keep up the fine work!

Yesterday, I spotted two gentlemen (in classic dress), cleaning and repainting the street posting box across the road from me on the corner of Lyons Street South and Urquhart Street.

I went across to thank Michael and Neil who said that this was their 51st posting box that they had restored in Victoria.

I had contacted Australia Post some time ago indicating that this needed badly to be done. They thanked me for my interest and indicated that Australia Post want to phase out these boxes!

I use them regularly, so trust that this does not happen.

Today I went across the road to see the completed work. It was a fine job!

If you have an aging posting box near you, contact Australia Post to have it restored.
