A GROUP of comedians will come together next Saturday at the Ballarat Performing Arts Centre in support of Lifeline.

Each year, Lifeline Loddon Mallee answers thousands of calls from regional Victorians struggling with mental health.

“We had already done some fundraisers, so when Lifeline approached us last year we jumped on board,” said producer Luke Morris.

“As comedians we can do something to help by bringing smiles, positivity, laughter for a fun night out to raise funds to help Lifeline keep doing their important work.

“We will be putting the fun back into fundraising, with a Laugh for Lifeline at the new Ballarat Performing Arts Centre.”

The performance will include Lizzy Hoo (Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala), Sammy Petersen (Confessions podcast), Mali Hawke (250,000 followers on TikTok), Meg Jäger (RAW Comedy National Finalist 2023), Ballarat comedian Joe Baxter and more.

“This will be a night of great laughs and great vibes, with all profits going to Lifeline during their Hello for Hope fundraising campaign,” said Mr Morris.

“We’d like to thank the support of the Ballarat Performing Arts Centre, Tough Cookie Marketing, and Bart ‘n’ Print and hope to see everyone there.”

Laugh for Lifeline will be held on Saturday 13 September at the Ballarat Performing Arts Centre, 501/503 Neill Street, Soldiers Hill.

Tickets are available via Humanitix, BPAC and Comedy Victoria at $27 to $30, with all profits going to Lifeline.
