Remember when?
IT is a fair assumption that Victoria has never held such a historic clearing auction of motoring memorabilia and rare farm equipment, including stationary engines.
Over 450 lots are assembled over three paddocks, over two properties at Yandoit and Muckleford, all to be auctioned online, Sunday 22 June.
Ringmaster of the auction, Murray Evans explains how the mega size clearing auction fell into place.

The starting point was when local identity Stephen O’Connor decided to step back from his passion projects, his vast collection of passenger cars, vintage tractors and cropping equipment is up for auction.
Mr O’Connor is president of the local Mount Alexander Vintage Engine Club who mentioned his auction and other members wanted to list their rare tractors, and machinery, so the vendor list doubled overnight.
Only a few items have a reserve price, so there are bargains to be had at ye olde, yesteryear’s prices.

The auction catalogue has something for everyone from normally impossible to find spares, tractors to be rebuilt and re-purposed and passenger cars just longing for a spruce up.
