SOVEREIGN Hill’s Winter Wonderlights will return this July where the outdoor museum’s main street will transform into a canopy of light.
This year’s event will run from Friday 4 to Sunday 27 July with light projections, fires, food and drinks, activities, live music and theatre shows.
Faux snow will fall across the site and more than 20 kilometres of fairy lights will light up the night sky.
Last year’s event had 90,000 attendees.
“Each winter, we look forward to welcoming families and visitors to experience the magic as Sovereign Hill’s familiar streets and settings are transformed into a breathtaking spectacle of light and colour,” Sovereign Hill CEO Sara Quon said.
“It’s a unique opportunity to see our iconic site in a completely new light, connecting our rich history with a contemporary and enchanting experience.”
Since its inception in 2014, Winter Wonderlights has had more then 860,000 people see more than 440 hours of light projections.
Admission for a full day at Sovereign Hill including Winter Wonderlights starts at $69.50 for an adult, $35.50 for a child or $177.50 for a family.
