All fired up for Christmas

FIRE fighters from Ballarat City Fire Station and newly opened Lucas Fire Station joined ranks donating toys and money to the 3BA Christmas Appeal.

Ballarat’s Leading Fire Fighter Peter Cooper said the two stations have been gathering the toys over the past month with a total of 170 ready to go deserving kids in Ballarat.

Lucas Fire Fighter Jason Adams said the Station used donated money to purchase toys adding to the ones contributed by his fellow fire fighters.

Appeal ambassador Peter Caligari, at the gift handover said, “The support from the Ballarat Station has always been incredible and now with the boost from the Lucas Station a week before Christmas this ensures that every child will have a visit from Santa and a toy to play with at Christmas.”
