Businesswomen ready to thrive
FOLLOWING their recent annual general meeting, not-for-profit networking group Ballarat Business Women have announced their new board.
Margi Cousins remains chair, while business development executive at Quest Ballarat Station Kesh Manton, and Elysium Day Spa and Medspa Elysium owner Skye Godden are new additions.
The organisation bid farewell to Heather Carr this month, a long-time board member of more than 12 years.
“We thank Heather for her years of service and contribution to Ballarat Business Women,” Ms Cousins said.
The 2022 executive group includes vice chair Bec Ware, treasurer Meegan Dunne, and secretary Dannielle James, with Wendy Winzar, Simone Anderson, Sandy McKinnon, Lee Martin, and Susan Begbie also on board.
The network’s leaders have hit the ground running in recent weeks, planning events for the next 12 months.
“We have some amazing networking and business development opportunities coming up for our members,” Ms Cousins said.
The Ballarat, Let’s Thrive, Not Survive gala banquet will be held later in the year, with creative and innovative business strategist AJ Kulatunga as keynote speaker.
