Ballarat’s Jovie Skewes-Clinton will line up for the All Stars this Sunday in a national AFLW showcase match at Whitten Oval, capping off a standout start to her 2025 season.
The GWV Rebels utility has been rewarded for her elite form in the Coates Talent League Girls competition, where she has proven to be one of the most versatile and damaging players in this year’s AFLW Draft crop.
A product of Ballarat Football Club, Skewes-Clinton has kicked nine goals from four games – including hauls of three and five – and is averaging 18.3 disposals, 2.5 marks, 3.5 tackles, 2.5 inside 50s and 2.0 rebound 50s per match.
Her breakout came in Round 3 against Calder Cannons, where she collected 24 disposals, four marks and five goals to earn Player of the Week honours and a second consecutive Team of the Week selection.
She will be joined in the All Stars side by fellow GWV Rebels player Maggie Johnstone as they take on the Australia Under 18 team.
The match will be played at 11am this Sunday 8 June at Mission Whitten Oval. Entry is free.
