BCH vax clinic relocates

BALLARAT Community Health’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic has moved.

BCH’s team is now running their COVID-19 vaccine rollout from the one clinic site at their Sebastopol base at 256 Vickers Street.

Bookings can be made by phone on 5338 4538, or via the HotDoc booking system on the BCH vaccine rollout page at bit.ly/3AmSTXC, where only the one location can be selected.

Due to the phone line often being busy, the clinic encourages people to book online.

“We ask that you please do not turn up to our vaccination clinics without a booking,” A BCH spokesperson said.

BCH previously had two clinics running at their Lucas site and at Smythesdale’s The Well.

Earlier in the month, the Health organisation facilitated pop-up COVID-19 youth vaccination clinics in the CBD at Headspace Ballarat.

These clinics on Friday, 1 and Friday 8 October were run all day in partnership with the mental health support agency and Ballarat Health Services, vaccinating young people between the ages of 16 to 25.

Other services available at BCH Sebastopol include general practitioners, physiotherapists, podiatrists, nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians and diabetic educators.
