THIS year’s Ballarat Begonia Festival will once again see the City of Ballarat partner with Central Highlands Water to promote sustainability.

The partnership has spanned more than 25 years and this year, Central Highlands Water has released a limited-edition begonia-themed stainless steel reusable bottle.

The new bottle is part of the Choose Tap program, which encourages the community to make use of reusable bottles.

The full range of bottles will be for sale at the festival and all proceeds will go towards the Cafs Thread Together program.

“Central Highlands Water are proud to continue as community partners of the 2025 Ballarat Begonia Festival in partnership with the City of Ballarat,” managing director Jeff Haydon said.

“Our team will continue to be located in the gardens, hosting a range of fun and educational displays, including the opportunity to learn more about water efficiency.

“The popular Choose Tap stainless-steel reusable water bottles will again be available at the festival with all proceeds going to our local community bottle partner, Cafs’ (Child and Family Services) Thread Together program.”

The program provides people in need with new clothing and accessories by redistributing excess clothing stock.

The Begonia Festival will be on Saturday 8 to Monday 10 March.
