Big gala for business community
BALLARAT Business Women’s first-ever gala night will celebrate local businesspeople, their resilience and success.
The dinner is aimed at empowering the Ballarat business community to thrive, not just survive, and will also provide a space for networking.
Business strategist AJ Kulatunga will be the evening’s keynote speaker, exploring creativity and innovation in enterprise and the workplace, while offering strategies and new ideas.
“I believe tomorrow can be better than today, we just need a little inspiration to build it,” he said.
“If business moves at the speed of opportunity, how quickly can you move to capture it?”
Chair and founder of the Ballarat Business Women group Margi Cousins said the group’s mission since 2008 has been to mentor and support professional women across the city.
“We’re a volunteer organisation that has been working hard, and with great excitement, on our gala event,” she said.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to Ballarat’s business community for their ongoing support and are looking forward to frocking up for a fabulous night of inspiration and business networking.”
The Ballarat, Let’s Thrive Not Just Survive gala will be held on Thursday, 2 June at the Mercure Hotel and Convention Centre, including a three-course dinner, drinks, and spot prizes. Visit ballaratbusinesswomen.net.au/events.
