Mega sale boosts Cafs’ services
CAFS’ Mitchell Park warehouse will host a big clearance sale this weekend to rehome preloved goods and financially support service operations.
Items available include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, books, toys, board games, homewares, bric-a-brac and manchester, with the lowest price point being $1.
CEO, Wendy Sturgess said the “mega sale” will be packed with “quality second-hand” pieces.
“All proceeds from this very special sale will be filtered back to Cafs programs and services, which support our community’s most vulnerable people,” she said.
“We would love to see bargain hunters come along this weekend and help us clear out the warehouse, while supporting a very worthy cause.”
The facility at 1 Patanga Court, Mitchell Park will be open from 9am to 1pm this Saturday, 28 November.
EFTPOS is the preferred type of payment. Those paying by cash are encouraged to bring lots of gold coins. Bring your own shopping bags.
Visitors can grab a cuppa from the La Coffee Van which will be just outside the warehouse from 9am. Parking is free, but Cafs asks drivers to follow the directions of their parking attendant.
To protect staff, volunteers and attendees, a COVID-safe plan has been made for the sale and measures will be in place.
Shoppers need to note their details at the entry before they go inside, attendee numbers will be limited at the one time, face masks are to be worn, and hand sanitiser is to be used.
