TBH Studio is looking for artists big or small who would like to display their creations in their fitting room exhibition spaces.

The four spaces at the back of the Bridge Mall art gallery are being rented out for $20 a month and co-founder Holly Would said they are ideal spaces for anyone looking to display their work.

“It was Toni Louise who came up with the concept when I had the space next door because she saw it as space that wasn’t being used,” said Would.

“The beauty of these little spaces is that they’re not intimidating for someone who might be wanting to have a first little show of their work which is really nice.

“You get people doing it for the first time and also people who really well-established artists.”

The artist has full control over the space to run the exhibition how they wish.

“It’s completely there’s for the month, so if they want to come in and change things around or put up something brand new every day, that’s completely up to them,” said Would.

“Some artists book out all four and use the lot or we have each individual one occupied.”

Would said the spaces are open to anyone, no matter their age or skill level.

“I did one with my four-year-old son, so I’d love to see more kids involved,” she said.

“You see all sorts of different things, like stuff that requires people to participate, others have work that’s for sale, it can be whatever you want.”
