KILDERKIN Distillery has been named best small business at the Scottish Network for Business and Culture Victoria Awards.

The award recognises excellence in business, dedication to quality, and an innovative approach to distilling.

Kilderkin Distillery co-owners Chris Pratt – who has Scottish heritage – and Rebecca Mathews said they are grateful for the recognition.

“This award celebrates our passion for distilling as well as the incredible support we receive from Ballarat and beyond,” Mr Pratt and Ms Mathews said.

“It’s an honour to represent the connection between Scottish tradition and Australian creativity.”

The business recently held an evening of live music to celebrate St Andrew’s Day, with music from Scottish folk performers Shona Williams and Phil Lester, and its Larrikin Gin range is a recognised award-winner.
