Estate on board as market sponsor
THE Rotary Club of Ballarat’s SpringFest committee has announced a new platinum sponsor for 2023.
Over-50s residential community, Lucas Lifestyle Estate, is supporting the fundraising market day for the first time.
Staff and residents will have a stall in the north gardens throughout the event, aiming to meet locals, potential new neighbours, and to share information about the village.
“We are really excited to be sponsoring and participating in this year’s SpringFest event in Ballarat,” said Lucas Lifestyle Estate village manager, Clare Fitzpatrick.
“It is a great opportunity to get to know the local community and showcase our fantastic Lifestyle Estate.”
SpringFest event coordinator Nicole Bartlett said the committee is pleased to have the support of a brand-new platinum backer.
“Sponsors are vital to the success of the event and were grateful to be attracting new people to support SpringFest after a few years of not being able to run it,” she said.
“Being a community minded event, it’s great to link in with a community minded sponsor.”
Lucas Lifestyle Estate is a village community of low-maintenance homes in Lucas that also has country club facilities including a bowling green, bocce and mini putt-putt court, bar, library, cinema room, gym, and Pilates space.
New areas are being built including an indoor pool, a hobby shed, and a sports bar. The estate has been created by land lease operators Serenitas.
SpringFest will be held on Sunday 26 November along the roadway of the gardens precinct at Lake Wendouree, between St Aidans Drive and Carlton Street.
The festival is a Rotary Club of Ballarat initiative raising money for community beneficiaries, and local and international Rotary projects. Visit springfestballarat.com.au.
