Excellence shines on business community’s night of nights
LAST night’s Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner was full of glitz, glamour and celebration, as the city’s outstanding people in enterprise took a bow for all they do to serve their customers and clients.
Accounting and business advisory practice, Chris Packer & Associates, was named Federation University Business of the Year, having won the Commerce Ballarat Professional Services Business Award earlier in the evening.
The Ballarat Times News Group Micro/Home Based Business Award went to Clasch Design, and the Bartlett Manufacturing Family Business Award was presented to Ballarat Indoor Go Karts, Laserforce and Entertainment Centre.
BGT Jobs and Training Ballarat took home the Stoke Design Co Not for Profit Business Award, while Uplift Therapy was named Federation University Health and Wellbeing Business Awardee.
The City of Ballarat Creative Industries Business Award went to Little Ivory Haus, while Itinerant Spirits was named the Sharing Shed Newcomer Awardee.
Ballan Local Butcher received the Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety (Ballarat) Retail Business Award, and Pinarc Disability Support was named the Nevett Wilkinson Frawley Large Business Awardee.
The Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre Innovation Award went to Luv-a-Duck, the Central Highlands Water Trade Business Award winner was Ballarat Roadworthy Centre, and Turret Café & Catering was named Central Highlands Growers & Producers Hub Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs Business Awardee.
The Power FM SME Business Award went to Inception Planning, and The WIN Network Customer Service Award was presented to Piano Bar Ballarat.
Wilsons Fruit and Vegetables was honoured with the Haymes Paint Family Business Scholarship and Rightbank Brewing Society received the Regional Development Victoria (Grampians) Growers and Producers People’s Choice Award.
