KRYAL Castle will be coming alive next weekend with the magic of fairies, unicorns, and a host of other mythical creatures.

It’s the first time Kryal Castle is putting on this event and CEO Bart Hamilton said it’s shaping up to be a fun weekend for everyone.

“There’s going to be a dragon, a mermaid, a unicorn, fairies and goblins,” he said.

“When you step into the castle it’s going to be a medieval fantasy land with photo opportunities, all the shows themed around unicorns and fairies.”

The weekend builds from the magic of the unicorn festival which took place earlier this year.

“The unicorn festival was our biggest week of the year, and we sold out so there is obviously a demand for this stuff,” said Mr Hamilton.

“We thought, the weather has turned nice in Ballarat, why not do it again?”

Mr Hamilton encouraged people of all ages to come along to the festival.

“Obviously kids love fairies, but there’s a lot of adult activities like a mobile pub, axe throwing, archery and a sword fight,” he said.

“At the same time, who doesn’t love to see a mermaid?”

Kryal Castle’s fairy and unicorn weekend will be on Saturday 2 December and Sunday 3 December and tickets are available via the venue’s website.
