BALLARAT Rock N Roll Festival is searching for food vendors and stall holders who would like to take part in this year’s festival.

It will be on Saturday 11 November and Sunday 13 November with live bands, dance lessons, and classic car displays.

The festival is run by a not-for-profit group and last year saw the first Ballarat Rock N Roll festival which was a one-day event.

“The feedback was very positive, and we wanted to start off small,” said event organiser Kirsty Robinson.

“The vendors and stallholders from last year were pretty keen to come back.”

This years event will be bigger than last, with six bands and a ticketed event on Saturday night.

“We have the ambition that we only want to get bigger from this point on,” said Ms Robinson.

The festival is looking for a variety of food vendors and stallholders, particularly local businesses.

“Because it is a 50s and 60s event we’re looking for anyone that sells merchandise whether that be rock and roll dresses, shirts, shoes, headbands or those sorts of products,” said Ms Robinson.

“We have also extended that to local businesses who are selling homewares and candles because we do want to support people who are often running a business out of their garage.

“We want a diverse range of food so people can come and they don’t have to go elsewhere so everything is there.”
