Footy fun in finals week

THE Western Bulldogs put on a Free Footy Festival of games and activities at City Oval last week to celebrate the lead-up to the AFL Grand Final long weekend. Running all day on Wednesday, 21 September, 300 children including Tannar Stevens took part in the event which included inflatable games, skill testing activities like handballing, tackling, and ball-kicking, and even a sensory session. Western Bulldogs AFLW players Jess Fitzgerald and Elle Bennetts, and St Kilda AFL player Brad Crouch, were among the special guests, with Bulldogs mascots Scout, Roxie and Caesar also dropping by to say hello.
