BERRY Street, Victoria’s largest independent child and family services organisation recently received a $400 donation from The Order of Saint John of Jerusalem.

The funds were raised by giving valuations of precious objects at the Antiques Fair earlier this year in the Civic Hall, plus assistance from the Victorian Priory of the Order.

The Order also partners with BLOC at its opening night performances to raise funds for Ballarat Hospice Care.

While Berry Street receives government funding for some projects, including work that assists young people up to the age of 18 years, additional support is always appreciated said the agency’s Assistant Director, Warrick Remilton.
