Grants open for creatives
GRANTS to support the arts, cultural, and creative sectors are open again for applications.
The Creative Inspiration Grant is an ongoing program that gives $1000 to those in creative industries who are living, working or studying in Ballarat.
They are designed to support the City of Ballarat’s Creative City Strategy which has a goal of supporting sparks of creativity and making Ballarat one of Australia’s leading creative cities.
It is a partnership with Regional Arts Victoria who administer the grants.
Individuals, businesses, associations, and organisations located in the 3350 to 3358 postcodes can apply.
Applicants will be asked to explain how funding their idea will be beneficial to the City of Ballart and creativity around the country.
The process is confidential to ensue intellectual property of the idea, with the last round having eleven recipients.
Past recipients include individual creators, collectives like Multicultural Creative Women, groups including The Academy of Classical Ballet and event venue’s that support the arts such as The Eastern.
