NOT-for-profit community groups, clubs and organisations are invited to apply for this year’s City of Ballarat Community Impact Grants program.
The program aims to strengthen connections between community members and groups by providing funding for programs, events, products and services that benefit residents.
Applications are open until Sunday 30 March and grants valued between $500 and $20,000 will be available.
It will be the only round of funding for this financial year.
“We have seen some brilliant examples in previous years where we have been able to help local community groups deliver projects that deliver enormous benefit to Ballarat,” mayor Cr Tracey Hargreaves said.
“We are proud to be working closely with the community to help them make Ballarat a better place for everybody.”
Some of the successful applicants last financial year were the Ballarat Autism Network, Victoria Park Football Club and BLOC Music Theatre.
