Law firm gets behind fund run

THE staff at Heinz Law are ready to Run for A Cause, having contributed ten thousand dollars to the Ballarat Foundation fundraising campaign.

The 2021 fun-run, or walk, will be a virtual event throughout November, and the Foundation has an aim to raise at least $50,000, so they can distribute 1000 vouchers for school supplies to local families in need of financial support.

Heinz Law partner Andrew Faull said the firm engages will all facets of the city and were “only too happy” to contribute as a community impact partner.

“We get a very good understanding of what the community is about and what it needs, and I think there is a responsibility that comes along with that, so it was very natural for us to want to support this great cause,” he said.

“The last 18 months has been a real challenge for our community, and Ballarat’s been very resilient, but there are a number of families who have done it tough.

“This has come at a really good time for the Ballarat community to get together and support this cause that’s going to make a real difference to families, and kids as they head back to school next year.”

Ballarat Foundation CEO Andrew Eales encourages residents and corporate entities like their Community Impact Partner to take part.
