Hoses up on new station tower

A TOWER is currently under construction at the new Lucas CFA station which will be used for drying fire hoses. The tower is part of the total construction project by local company Nicholson Constructions.

Geoff Pickering Project Manager with Nicholson Constructions said the tower was approximately 35 metres high.

“The station is very near completion and we estimate November, early December,” he said.

“They will still need to do their fit-out and move everything across from their temporary facility in Delacombe.”
