Kilderkin wins three international medals
The distillery won a gold medal for its Larrikin’s Grin Old Tom Gin and silver medals for both its Larrikin Raspberry Drop Gin and its Goldfields Single Malt Whisky in the international competition.
This is the third consecutive year Kilderkin’s gins have been recognised at the competition, although it is the first time the single malt whisky has earned an international medal.
“Receiving gold in such a competitive arena is a testament to the passion and precision behind our distilling,” Chris Pratt, owner and co-founder said.
“To have our latest release Raspberry Drop and Goldfields Single Malt Whisky join the winner’s list is incredibly rewarding.”
The London Spirits Competition is held annually and evaluates spirits on their quality, value and packaging.
“We’re proud to represent Ballarat and regional Victoria on the global stage,” co-owner Rebecca Mathews said.
“These awards are for everyone who’s supported us, sipped with us and believed in what we’re creating.”
