THE Ballarat Foundation and Committee for Ballarat have partnered to deliver a new award in the name of Adrian Ohlsen.
With funding from the Bill Wood family trust, the annual Adrian Ohlsen Award will cover the cost of putting a participant through the Committee for Ballarat’s community leadership program, Future Shapers.
Adrian Ohlsen was a business and community leader in Ballarat who worked to mentor and boost other developing leaders over 20 years.
The award will be presented in his memory to emerging community leaders aiming to grow their impact through learning and networking within Future Shapers.
The Adrian Ohlsen Award was announced on Tuesday morning, 19 August at the Ballarat Foundation office at Hugh Williamson House, and the first recipient of the award is Lee Martin.
