Learn from garden guru
WELL-known gardener and presenter Jane Edmanson from ABC’s Gardening Australia will be the Creswick Garden Club’s key attraction at its annual Learning Day.
The Creswick Garden Club continues to find interesting and challenging presenters for its annual Learning Day, and this year is certainly no exception.
President of the Creswick Garden Club Phyllis Wright said that the Learning Day was a great opportunity to listen to, learn from and ask questions of Jane, one of Australia’s best-loved horticulturalists.
“The committee takes great pleasure in seeking out the very best presenter who will engage with the audience, sharing knowledge and experience and even, perhaps, a few secrets of what it’s like working on Gardening Australia,” she said.
Jane Edmanson has been with Gardening Australia since its inception in 1989 and has had a love of gardening since childhood.
She has followed a family tradition of respecting and understanding the need for healthy soil to grow good plants.
Ms Edmanson has a passion for sharing and passing on her gardening and horticultural experiences to others, and attendees at the Learning Day can be sure to come away with lots of stories and tips on how to enjoy gardening even more.
The Learning Day will be held at RACV Goldfields Resort, Midland Highway, Creswick on Saturday, 30 March from 9.30 to 3.30. The cost is $65 and includes morning tea and a two-course lunch and, of course, morning and afternoon presentations from Ms Edmanson.
