MCCALLUM Disability Services has announced that its CEO Tyrone McCuskey will step down in January after more-than a decade in the job.

The organisation’s chairman Brett Bryant said while the board was saddened to see him leave, they were grateful for his “remarkable contributions” over the past ten years as CEO, and as a voluntary board member for several years beforehand.

“His vision and leadership have positioned McCallum as a leader in disability support services, and his legacy will continue to influence us,” Mr Bryant said.

“His leadership has been marked by an unwavering commitment to our values and a deep understanding of the needs of our community.”

“The board of directors is working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and is committed to maintaining the high standards of service and support that McCallum is known for.”

“The search for a new CEO will begin immediately, and we are confident that our next leader will continue to build upon McCallum’s strong foundations.”

Mr McCuskey said it’s been an honour and privilege to lead the disability support service over such a long period.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together and am confident that the organisation will continue to thrive,” he said.

“I look forward to following McCallum’s future successes and am grateful for the support I have received throughout my tenure.”

Established in 1953, McCallum Disability Services is a provider of supported employment, accommodation, respite care, day support, and outreach services in Ballarat and St Arnaud.
