A SERIES of intimate loungeroom concerts are set to return next month again out of a home in Black Hill.

Now in its fourth year, seven programs of twelve concerts will run through the year as part of the 2024 Chisholm Street calendar.

The first program, Australian Women on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March will see flautist Sarah Goodbourn performing with series founder and director Bronwyn Blaiklock on piano.

Following that, ambient music and soundscapes will be delivered by the Michael Westlake Trio on Saturday 20 April.

Blaiklock will then take part in the third program, Golden Age, accompanying vocalist Sarahlouise Younger as she performs classics from musicals of the 1940s and 1950s on Friday 28 and Saturday 28 June.

A one-off gig by guitarist Robbie Melville, and vocalist and double bassist Liz Frencham as jazz duo Paper Mouse will then take place on Saturday 27 July.

On Friday 6 and Saturday 7 September, Blaiklock will perform works from Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev in a program called Prokofiev Visions.

The series will be rounded out with the Get Folked program on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October, and Hecho en Argentina performances on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December.
