New CEO for Wildlife Park

ILAN Weill has been appointed as the Ballarat Wildlife Park’s new CEO, bringing leadership experience and a fresh vision for the park centred around conservation, community engagement and growth.

Mr Weill has a background in business and hospitality with management experience and a passion for wildlife conservation.

“I am thrilled to join the Wildlife Park, a well-respected and admired park for the work we do in conservation and education in Australia,” he said.

“Working closely alongside Greg and Julia, the principals of the park, our goal is to create memorable experiences that connect guests with wildlife and to contribute meaningfully to species preservation and environmental awareness.

“I am delighted to be part of ‘Team Ballarat’ and work closely with all stakeholders in promoting the city as a prime destination in Victoria.”

Under Weill’s leadership, the park is set to expand initiatives, strengthen conservation efforts and work closer with the community to showcase local wildlife while protecting animal welfare.

There are plans for new exhibits and an expansion of the educational program.
