SUSTAINABLE florist and giftware store Windflower has recently made the move down Sturt Street to a new location in the Unicorn.

Owner, Kristy Tippett, said she hopes the new shop will become a destination for people to visit.

“We feel like we have such an amazing opportunity to build something really beautiful, a destination shop that can be many things,” she said.

“We plan on having more workshops, more pop ups, some street activations and in store more options for seasonal stock.”

Ms Tippett said the new location is allowing new customers to discover the business.

“We had so much foot traffic coming through and so many people coming through the shop who didn’t know about us in the old shop,” she said.

“It’s been good especially in this current economic climate and it’s a wonderful space that’s really welcoming.”

The store has a focus on using seasonal stock and Ms Tippett encouraged people to come and see their everchanging selection.

“It’s a nice opportunity to come in and see what we have and understand the ethos of what we’re doing in terms of seasonal, Australian flowers,” she said.

“It’s everchanging as we’re doing things on a seasonal basis and nothing is ever the same which is really exciting.”

The store is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
