THE adrenaline-packed Nitro Circus is set to make its return to Geelong in March next year.

It has been three years since the thrill-seeking crew last wowed audience members at GMHBA Stadium with their jaw-dropping stunts and outrageous sense of fun.

An all-new show theme will be debuted on Friday, 4 March, to kick off Nitro’s outdoor stadium tour across Australia and New Zealand, which will then go worldwide.

Early bird tickets for the Geelong show are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Ryan Williams, one of action sports’ biggest stars, will be the face of the 2022 world tour and he is thrilled to be performing on home soil again.

The BMX and scooter champion from the Sunshine Coast holds seven titles from both the Nitro World Games and X Games.

“It’s crazy that after touring Australia and New Zealand every year since 2010, it will have been three years since we have gotten to do a show here,” he said.

“Now we are ready to send it for our Aussie fans! We’ve used that time at home to work up a bunch of insane new tricks and trust me, you do not want to miss these shows.”

Nitro Circus organisers are promising the 2022 show will be one of the biggest in its 12-year touring history, delivering the exciting blend of action sports excitement they are renowned for.

Kardinia Park Stadium Trust CEO Gerard Griffin said it was terrific to welcome Nitro Circus back to Geelong and Australia.

“Hosting the Circus again demonstrates the versatility of GMHBA Stadium as the home for all events,” he said.

Nitro Circus has performed more than 360 shows in over 30 countries worldwide in stadiums, arenas and festivals.

Joe Carr, CEO of Thrill One Sports & Entertainment – Nitro Circus’ parent company – said the team was happy to bring Nitro Circus back to Australia and New Zealand.

An all-new Nitro Circus show is sent to audiences on 4 March, 2022.

“These are two of Nitro’s most avid fan bases and also among the most passionate and sophisticated audiences in action sports,” he said.

“Now, with the excitement of live entertainment returning to venues worldwide, we can’t wait for Australia and New Zealand to experience the high adrenaline fun of Nitro Circus once again.”
