BALLARAT Carols by Candlelight will be in full voice at the new home of the Ballarat Showgrounds this Saturday 20 December.

The free all-ages event will feature a packed program of singers, dancers and musicians bringing traditional and contemporary carols to life on stage in the showgrounds paddock.

“Headlining are Sarah Landy and Jason Wasley,” Carols co-director Renee Erwin said.

“All the talent is local, from the band to dance schools, and the cast of Ballarat Lyric Theatre’s & Juliet.”

Ms Erwin said Ballarat Carols by Candlelight is by lovers of the festive season for lovers of the festive season.

“We’re just a group of local volunteers who absolutely love Christmas and get our excitement from putting on the Carols,” she said.

“We are proud to have won Event of the Year at the 2025 City of Ballarat Australia Day Community Awards.

“We love bringing the Christmas spirit to Ballarat.”
