Jenny’s ELC opens its doors in Winter Valley

JENNY’S Early Learning Centre welcomes its first families to a purpose-built centre on Greenhalghs Road, adding much-needed places for one of Ballarat’s fastest-growing communities.

Families in Ballarat’s western growth corridor have a new option for childcare, with Jenny’s Early Learning Centre opening the doors of its Winter Valley centre for the first time on Monday.

Located at 489 Greenhalghs Road, the purpose-built centre caters for children from six weeks to six years of age and offers long day care alongside a recognised kindergarten and pre-kindergarten program. It is ideally placed to serve the growing communities of Lucas, Winter Valley and Sebastopol.

The centre has been designed with children in mind, featuring large indoor and outdoor spaces and a bright internal piazza intended to give little ones a sense of freedom and connection as they play, explore and learn. Calm, natural tones throughout are meant to make the centre feel like a home away from home, while a seasonal menu built around fresh, locally-sourced produce caters to each child’s needs, including allergies.

Winter Valley is the newest addition to the Jenny’s Early Learning Centre family, which operates a network of centres across regional Victoria, including several in and around Ballarat.

The new centre will work closely with its sister centres, The Arch at Alfredton and Jenny’s ELC Ballarat Central, ensuring experienced local educators continue to have strong career opportunities while supporting the wider Ballarat community.

Jenny’s Early Learning Centre says its focus at Winter Valley, as at all its centres, is on tailored, modern learning environments and dedicated educators who genuinely care for the children in their charge.

The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. Families interested in enrolling can book a tour, with tours now available to those keen to be among the first through the doors.
