THERE’S a new program by Make a Change Australia aimed to assist community leaders, organisations and individuals to adapt without altering their vision called, Let’s Pivot.

The professional development program is partnering with the City of Ballarat, City of Greater Bendigo, Gannawarra Shire, Loddon Shire, Coliban Water, North Central Catchment Management Authority, The Bushfire Foundation and Bendigo Bank to start conversations and initiate support systems.

Leader of Let’s Pivot Karen Corr said Make a Change Australia have been great in noticing and acting on the negative impacts of the pandemic on workers, businesses and industries.

“The key question for us is what can be done with what we already have,” she said.

“We intend for the program to support existing efforts through the delivery of information, digital connectivity, adaptation ideas and real time support leading to inspiration for change.

“To assist organisations such as ours to find ways forward and to make new conversations possible, is brilliant.”

Let’s Pivot is set to be delivered for free online until March 2021 and focuses predominantly on community groups that provide essential support, social connection, health and wellbeing services.

Anyone can join in any capacity from subscribing to info-mailers, joining zoom discussions to accessing digital resources and information tools from an online hub.
