Rock legends even better than the real thing
The group, known as the Australian Rock Collective, is made up of Kram – the drummer and lead singer from Spiderbait, Darren Middleton – ex Powderfinger lead guitarist, Mark Wilson – Jet bass guitarist, and Davey Lane from You Am I, The Stems and The Saints.
ARC promises to perform the iconic Harvest album from go to whoa on the night, before moving on to even more Neil Young classics afterwards.
With an astounding 33 ARIA awards shared between them, the Australian Rock Collective first came to prominence throughout sold out national Abbey Road 50th anniversary tours in 2019 and 2020.
Darren Middleton’s Powderfinger achieved no less than five number one albums in Australia between 2000 and 2009, but ultimately failed to achieve any real amount of international success.
Spiderbait, co-founded by Kram and band members Janet English and Damian Whitty in 1991, are one of Australia’s most enduring and still popular indie groups, memorably hitting number one on the local singles chart in 2004 with their cover version of Black Betty.
Mark Wilson’s Jet went BALLISTIC in 2003 with the release of their album Get Born, which went on to sell a four million copies, while prolific guitarist Davey Lane joined You Am I in 1999.
