A NEW experience is coming to Sovereign Hill as part of their spring school holiday program.

From Saturday 21 September until Sunday 6 October, visitors can design and make their own leather keyring keepsake.

The Makers Series is designed to highlight the museum’s role in promoting heritage trades and craftmanship.

“We’re excited to offer visitors a renewed sense of adventure with the Makers Series this spring,” said Sovereign Hill Museums Association CEO Sara Quon.

The activity is designed to promote heritage trades and craftsmanship.

“It’s the perfect time to rediscover the excitement of Sovereign Hill and create new memories with family and friends.

”Whether you’re seeking out new cultural experiences or a fun getaway for the family, Sovereign Hill has something for everyone this spring.”

Other program highlights include an animal petting zoo, weed foraging walks, farmyard walks and back of house collection tours.

Gold panning, coach rides, AURA sound and light spectacular and mine tours will also be available.

Tickets start from $49 for an adult and $29 for a child and can be purchased on the Sovereign Hill website.
