THE Snake Valley Community Swap Meet will return for another year this weekend.

On Sunday, 6 February, the Snake Valley Recreation Reserve will be a hive of activity with automotive and bric-a-brac stalls, and a big Show-N-Shine car showcase.

Run by Carngham Linton Football Netball Club in partnership with the Day Breakers Automotive Club of Victoria, the family-friendly day will welcome members of the public for some shopping, browsing, and vehicle viewing between 8am and 1pm.

Carngham Linton FNC secretary Michael O’Beirne said it’s the sixth annual event of its kind since the Swap Meet first launched in 2017.

“The attendance of stall holders and the public has grown each year to become a well-established event,” he said.

“The stalls will be made up of about 90 per cent automotive related items, and 10 per cent bric-a-brac. Canteen and barbeque facilities will be running at the Swap Meet.”

Those interested in attending and hosting a stall on site are encouraged to make an early booking to guarantee their participation.

There are only 120 stall sites available at $20 each, and interest should be expressed by 6pm on Saturday, 5 February.

Stallholders may be able to secure a spot on the day, capacity restrictions permitting and their arrival is from 7am, before members of the public start to walk in between 8am and 1pm.

After hours on weekdays, contact Cameron on 0419 166 540 or Greg on 0409 965 894 to make any enquiries or express interest in hosting a stall.

Adult members of the public can attend for a $5 entry fee. Those under the age of 18 can visit for free. COVID-safe procedures will be in place.
