AS you wander the Lake Wendouree gardens precinct during SpringFest Ballarat, there’ll be lots to do and discover, including the interactive Sports Zone.

Sponsored by Barry Plant Real Estate, the Sports Zone will welcome people of all ages to test their skills, play games, meet mascots, and pick up some giveaways.

Marketgoers will be able to have a go at footy and cricket activities with the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Renegades, and try their hand at basketball, netball, hockey, rugby, and more.

Barry Plant’s Jacob Douglas said the real estate agency jumped at the opportunity to support SpringFest as Market Sunday returns after a two-year break.

“At Barry Plant, we are all about being involved with the community, and what greater way to be involved than with Springfest. We cannot wait to see the whole Ballarat community,” he said.

“Located in the Sports Zone, our marquee will be set up with furniture graciously donated by Ballarat Property Styling to create a living area, so make sure you come and say hello.

“We will have also have showbags, massage chairs, and face painting.”

SpringFest Ballarat will be held on Sunday, 27 November and is presented by Optus.

More than 500 market stalls will be based in the gardens precinct, with food, arts and crafts, music, clothing, jewellery, plants and flowers, performers, car displays, events and activities on offer.

Parking will be available at Victoria Park, with a free shuttle bus. Wendouree Parade, between St Aidans Drive and Carlton Street, will be closed to traffic.
