Attractions to shine on Summer Sundays

SUMMER Sundays, the City’s outdoor concert series is returning this season, but will be held across varying iconic Ballarat attractions rather than the Gardens.

Over three January weekends, Sovereign Hill, Kryal Castle and the Ballarat Wildlife Park will host the events featuring local artists and headliners including Clare Bowditch, Killing Heidi’s Ella Hooper and the Ross Wilson Trio.

They will be streamed from 2.30pm to 5pm via @summersundaysballarat on Facebook, promoting homegrown talent, the city, and its major attractions to a wider online audience of potential tourists ready to support regional businesses.

Summer Sundays is moving away from the Ballarat Botanical Gardens this time to ensure controlled COVID-safety.

Sovereign Hill will host Sunday, 10 January, Ballarat Wildlife Park has the 17th and Kryal Castle the 24th
