The Bard is back!
OZACT is set to return to Kirks Reservoir Gardens next week and they are performing some of Shakespeare’s best scenes.
Now in its 25th year, the touring theatre group will be staging a new production titled A Feast of Shakespeare, and it incorporates acts from Hamlet, Pericles, King Lear and The Tempest.
Artistic director at OZACT Bruce Widdop said the abridged omnibus performance would have something for the dedicated Shakespeare aficionado through to people who don’t know anything about the Bard’s work.
“This is Shakespeare for all tastes, with moving tragedy, tender romance, uproarious comedy and unearthly magic in this most spectacular setting of Kirks Reservoir Gardens,” he said.
Windop is co-directing with Matt Young and the cast features fellow OZACT players Breen, Ryan Ireland, Eleanor Ruth, and Luke Ingram.
A Feast of Shakespeare is set for 26 and 27 December at Kirks Reservoir Gardens, 255 Daylesford Road, Gong Gong.
Tickets are $40, and limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Visit ozact.com to book and for more info.
