The SpringFest countdown is on!

IT’S only eight days until SpringFest returns for the first time since 2019, and the Rotary Club of Ballarat has been coordinating a new twist on the market day in the gardens’ precinct.

On Sunday 26 November, 10am to 4pm, the family event is set to offer a diverse range of zones and activities for all ages, with an aim to not just fundraise for partner organisations, but to highlight the spirit of the community.

“This year, SpringFest Ballarat is not just a celebration, it’s a rejuvenation,” said Rotary Club of Ballarat president Samantha McIntosh.

More than 450 market stalls will be set up between Carlton Street and St Aidans Drive, offering handmade gifts, artisanal foods, and more, and there’ll be two food precincts with cuisine for every palate.

The Show N Glow classic and vintage car display in the south gardens is set to attract classic car enthusiasts, while offering live entertainment and a rock-and-roll dance floor.

The children’s area will be the place where kids can let their imagination run wild, full of games, workshops, and entertainment, and if they haven’t burnt all their energy, the sports zone will test their skills and encourage an active lifestyle.

Attendees can discover November colour in the spring garden, and get plant and landscaping advice on site, while a visit to the frontline services zone is a chance to meet those who keep the community safe.
