HAVING offered photography services for years, Evolution Photography and Events have shifted its focus towards supplying eco-friendly party hire packages for those that want to celebrate while keeping waste low.

offering that she had long dreamed of.

“Eco Party Hire aims to make low waste parties, picnics and gatherings super easy and affordable so that the Ballarat community can move towards a healthier planet,” she said.

“We’re trying to eliminate single use plastics predominantly, and offer an alternative to the high levels of waste I noticed were associated with throwing parties.”

For the launch of the new eco party hire packages, a variety of local businesses who believe in sustainable operations decided to get involved and support the event.

“The launch was supported by some amazing local eco foodies who provide sustainable, eco-friendly catering options,” Ms Kosloff said.

“I’d like to thank The Paella Guy, Tiara’s Treats, The Source Bulk Foods Ballarat, Koonara Wines, Red Duck Brewery and Michael Unwin Wines for generously sponsoring the launch and for their commitment to providing eco-friendly food and beverage options.”

Nathan Inglis from The Paella Guy said they were proud to be associated with Evolution Photography and Events and especially to be listed as an eco foodie.

“I have taken many steps with my business to try and minimise my wastage from bulk ordering fresh produce, buying local and seasonal ingredients and using biodegradable containers and cutlery,” he said.

“If we all take one conscious step into a greener living we can grow to a healthier future.”
